AiM Foresight Group is a division of Elston Johnson and Associates. After almost 30 years in the water and wastewater industry, providing expertise in regulatory and security issues, Elston had a vision to complement his value by providing clients with the tools and competencies to lead through the disruptions and challenges of the water sector. Barb Johnson, Principal Consultant, leads the division and has built an effective method of facilitating strategic foresight plans and ensuring leaders and their organizations have the capabilities to execute. Based out of Round Rock, Texas, AiM Foresight Group is proud to provide world-class foresight planning, leadership development and organizational development programs.

Barbara Johnson, DSL

Barb Johnson received her Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL) from the School of Global Leadership and Business at Regent University. Her certifications include Everything DiSC®, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team®, Predictive Index®, and Talent Optimization Professional. She is the founder and principal consultant of AiM Foresight Group, focused on helping industry leaders implement learning and organizational strategies to lead the future.

To cultivate strong leaders who can transform organizational purpose, serve people, and adapt to diverse problems, Barb developed the Transervative Leadership™ foresight model. Over the past twenty years, Barb has implemented this model in her work with a variety of industries. The programs she has designed have resulted in a high return on investment as well as building high-performing teams. In the past, Barb has lead leadership development strategy, team effectiveness, employee engagement, succession planning, employee lifecycle scaffolding, and Dignity in the Workplace initiatives.

Barb’s professional expertise includes:

  • Assessing the historical and current state of business strategy and organizational culture to identify needs and change readiness.
  • Designing customized project strategies in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Developing programs and materials to create new mindsets, develop new skills, drive innovation, and manage change.
  • Implementing facilitated learning, discussion, and activities in-person and via online methods.
  • Evaluating programs for effectiveness and improvement.
